Captain Yasser founded YAKS Marine in 2012 after 18 years at sea commanding container vessels and bulk carriers across the Mediterranean, Atlantic, and Indian Ocean trade routes.

Under his leadership, YAKS Marine grew from a three-person office in Alexandria to a 120-strong nationwide operation serving the world's largest shipping lines. Capt. Yasser holds a Master Mariner's license, an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science & Technology, and is an Associate Fellow of the Nautical Institute.
